Your work on restoring my son’s bed posts was nothing less than stunning! These bedposts are now more than ever a ‘family treasure’ of ours in great part to your excellent craftsmanship in restoring them … and for that we are eternally grateful (and awed by such workmanship). As my wife explained, my son’s ‘Poppy’ (grandpa—my wife’s father, was a WWII vet who lied about his age to get in the US Navy as a 17 y/o, fought four years on a USN ‘minesweeper’, and died at age 87 ‘going on a hundred’ approx. 4 yrs. ago w/hospice care at home--my son was present as a young 10 year old at his bedside…and he was so grateful to find out recently that ‘Poppy’s’ and Grandma’s bedposts were his. My son never asks for anything…he has written each year to Santa in fact to wish him ‘safe travels’ and thank him for all he does for children especially…yet, he would never ask even Santa for anything. The work you did on these bedposts will stay with him, a very humble and grateful young lad, for the rest of his lifetime! In closing, any woodworking needs we ever have will surely be coming your way!
